1. Who we are
SupportKeep is a software service operated by Stjernberg Invest AS, Norway. Stjernberg Invest AS is the controller for personal data processed to operate SupportKeep, except where we act only on behalf of a customer.
2. Data we process
Depending on how you use SupportKeep, we may process:
- account and authentication information, such as email address and user ID;
- subscription and billing identifiers received from our payment provider;
- product content, documentation and approved answers uploaded by sellers;
- buyer questions and the answers generated for those questions;
- support requests, feedback, contact details and related page or account context you provide;
- technical and security information needed to operate and protect the service.
3. Why we use the data
We use personal data to provide and secure the service, authenticate users, process subscriptions, answer product questions, respond to support requests, understand product feedback, improve reliability, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations. The legal basis will normally be performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating and improving the service, or compliance with legal obligations.
4. Service providers
We use specialist providers to run SupportKeep, including infrastructure, database/authentication, AI and payment services. These currently include Vercel, Supabase, OpenAI and Stripe. They process data only as needed to provide their services to us and under their applicable contractual and data-protection safeguards.
5. International transfers
Some service providers may process data outside Norway or the EEA. Where required, transfers are handled using legally recognised safeguards provided by the relevant service provider.
6. Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the service, maintain security and records, respond to support and feedback, resolve disputes and meet legal, tax or accounting requirements. Seller-created product content remains until it is deleted by the seller or the account is closed, subject to limited backup and legal-retention periods.
7. Your rights
Where the GDPR applies, you may have rights to information, access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability and objection. You may also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet) or another competent supervisory authority.
8. Contact
Privacy and support requests can be sent through the Support page on this website. If you are logged in, you can also use Help & feedback inside your SupportKeep dashboard. We may ask for information necessary to verify your identity before responding to a rights request.
9. Changes
We may update this policy as SupportKeep develops. The current version will always be published on this page with its last-updated date.
